Emmy nominated Ray Preziosi has served as Director of Photography on multiple feature films and worked with the well-known iconic duo, Sol and Elaine Bass, shooting title sequences for Casino, directed by Martin Scorsese, and A River Runs Through It, directed by Robert Redford. Some of Ray's feature film credits include Italian Movie, Topsy and Bunker, Frog and Wombat, and the Victorian-era period piece, Family Secrets.
In addition, Ray's shot nationally televised, feature-length PBS documentaries such as the Emmy award-winning, NY TV by the People Who Made It, and the 2-part, Music of Ireland series. Some of his other documentary credits include, Concorde Alpha-Delta: An Intrepid Journey, for the History Channel, and the PBS mini-series, FS Key, After the Song.
Along with numerous short films, Ray shot Ride With Us, a streaming series for volunteer fire service recruitment.
Several times a year, Ray teaches a 35mm cinematography workshop as an adjunct instructor at the New York Film Academy.
When not on set, Ray responds to emergency fire calls as a volunteer firefighter at the Rosendale NY Fire Department, in his hometown, and has served his fire district as a publicly elected Fire Commissioner.
